The Doublers

The Doublers pray a simple prayer first prayed by Saint Therese which asked for a double portion of all the angels and saints love. We pray that and also ask a double portion of their graces, virtues and merits as well. All you do is pray this prayer everyday and sign up below! 

We join our prayer with Saint Therese's prayer for a double portion of all the angels and saints love, also their graces, virtues and merits, and that they adopt us as their children forever. We also ask that they pray for all the Doublers intentions and that the whole world joins us. We ask this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

“Love can only be repaid by love. I wanted to do everything at once and I thought of a prayer Eliseus made to our father Elias when he asked him for a double portion of his spirit, and in that sense I prayed to all the Angels and Saints in heaven. ‘I am the most insignificant of creatures,’ I told them, ‘and I could not be more conscious of my own wretched failings. But I know how generous hearts like yours love to do well to those around them, and I want you, the blessed citizens of heaven, to adopt me as your child. Whatever credit I win by such means will belong to you entirely, but do not despise the rash request I make of you when I ask you to obtain for me a double portion of your love.”
